Russian drone attack on Kyiv region kills three, including child

The enemy attacked the Kyiv region with drones on the night of August 8, with consequences already reported in the Brovary district across three locations, according to a Telegram post by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.
According to him, falling debris in the Brovary district damaged a private residential building, outbuildings, and vehicles. A fire also broke out on the territory of a non-residential building.
"Unfortunately, three people have been killed, including a child. Three more have been injured, also including a child. My sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased," the official wrote.
Rescue teams and all necessary services are working at the scene, and the clearance of the aftermath is ongoing.
Attack on Kyiv and the region on August 8
On the night of Saturday, August 8, Russian forces launched drones at Ukraine. The drones moving toward the Kyiv region were detected by the Air Force as they approached from the Chernihiv region.
Media reported explosions in the capital, although authorities have not yet provided information on the consequences. Later, reports emerged of ballistic missile launches in the direction of the capital.
As is known, Russia carried out a missile and drone attack on the night of August 5, using ballistic missiles. The main impact was on the Kyiv region, where people were killed, and logistics hubs and warehouses came under fire.
These included warehouses belonging to Rozetka, Epicentr, Nova Poshta (Ukraine's largest private postal and logistics operator), and others. In terms of losses, in Kyiv one person was killed and up to 30 were injured, according to official information. In the region, 16 people were killed, and another 36 were injured.
