Russian drone attack hits Poltava region, injuring workers and causing fire

In the Myrhorodskyi district of the Poltava region, a hangar was damaged due to a Russian attack using kamikaze drones. Two employees of one of the enterprises were injured, the Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Kohut, reports.
The official stated that the enemy attacked the region with drones in the evening and again during the night.
According to the Head of the Regional Military Administration, air defense operations were carried out in the region amid the Russian attack.
"Due to falling drone debris in the Myrhorodskyi district, a hangar at one of the enterprises was damaged. A fire broke out but was quickly extinguished by emergency services," Kohut informed.
The administration also reported that two employees of the enterprise were injured.
"One of them was hospitalized with a suspected barotrauma, while the other received medical assistance on-site," Kohut said.
The Head of the Regional Military Administration also shared footage of the aftermath of the drone strikes on the Myrhorodska community online.
Nighttime Shahed attack
On the evening of March 24, an air raid alert was declared in several regions of Ukraine due to the threat of Russian kamikaze drone strikes.
Reports emerged of air defense activity in response to the drone attack in some regions, including the Kyiv region.
In addition, Izium in the Kharkiv region suffered massive airstrikes using kamikaze drones. The enemy attack caused a fire in the city.
Furthermore, in the morning, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that Russian kamikaze drones had hit two districts in the Kyiv region overnight, causing warehouse fires at the impact sites.
