On the night of February 14, Russian units attacked the Kyiv region with drones. As a result of the incident, a private house caught fire, and two residents were injured, according to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, on Telegram.

According to the head of the administration, the attack occurred in the Vyshhorod district.

“The man sustained multiple shrapnel injuries to his upper limbs, face, and neck. The woman has a closed fracture of the forearm bones. Both injured persons have been hospitalized in the local hospital and are receiving all necessary medical care,” Kalashnyk wrote.

It is also known that the drone strike caused a fire at their private house. The roof and ceilings were destroyed, and windows and doors were damaged. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished by the State Emergency Service units.

“All relevant services are working at the scene. Documentation and clarification of the consequences of the enemy attack are ongoing,” the official added.

The evening before, Kyiv came under a drone attack, with explosions heard across the capital. On the night of February 12, the city was hit by a massive attack with enemy ballistic missiles. In addition to damage to buildings and infrastructure, there were many emergency calls to paramedics.

Recently, the enemy also attacked the Kyiv region. During a massive strike in the Bucha district, a 50-year-old man was fatally injured. Gas station buildings were also damaged.

As is known, Russia systematically shells Kyiv and its region, causing damage to infrastructure. Residents are left without electricity, water, and heat, which is one of the ways Russia exerts pressure on Ukraine in negotiations.
