Russian drone attack damages private homes in Kyiv region

"The enemy has once again attacked the Kyiv region. Under strikes by the terrorist state are peaceful communities, the homes of ordinary people, their lives, and peace. Last night, eight private houses were damaged in the Bucha district. Windows were shattered, facades and roofs were damaged," Buneczko said.

According to him, everyone whose home was damaged is already receiving the necessary assistance.

"I appeal to every resident of the region: please do not ignore air raid alerts. During attacks, be sure to stay in safe places," the head of the regional military administration urged.

According to police, a vehicle was also damaged in the enemy attack. There were no casualties.

Police officers and rescuers are working at the scene.

Russian attack on Ukraine on January 15

On the night of January 15, Russian forces attacked several regions of Ukraine with 82 jet-powered Shahed drones, Italmas drones, and UAVs of other types. Most of the enemy targets were destroyed by air defense forces.

At the same time, impacts of 21 strike drones were recorded at 13 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones at three locations.

In particular, Russians struck critical infrastructure facilities in the Zhytomyr region.

In Kyiv, during the attack by Russian forces, debris fell on a 15-story residential building. As a result of the impact, a wall on the building's technical floor was destroyed.

Explosions were also heard in Lviv early in the morning, about 1,000 km from the front line. It later became known that an enemy drone in Lviv fell on a playground near the Bandera monument.
