Russians reported an attack by unknown drones on the EuroChem Belorechensk Mineral Fertilizers plant, located in the Krasnodar Krai, Russia, according to the Astra Telegram channel.

Locals say a fire broke out at the large enterprise after the drone attack, and employees were evacuated. Traffic has been blocked in the city in the area of the chemical plant.

The operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Krai confirmed that in the Belorechensky district of the region, fragments of drones fell near “one of the large enterprises of the municipality,” causing a fire. The name of the enterprise was not specified.

“About 140 people - employees of the enterprise - were evacuated to a protective structure,” the report said.

According to the authorities, the fire, covering an area of about 50 square meters, was extinguished. There were no casualties. Special and emergency services continue to work at the site.

Strikes on oil refineries in Russia

The Ukrainian Defense Forces regularly strike enemy oil refineries that supply petroleum products to the Russian army. Earlier, unknown drones attacked an oil refinery in Krasnodar. A fire also broke out there after a series of explosions.
