Over the past seven days, Russian military losses on the front line have increased significantly. While Russian forces were losing an average of 1,100 troops killed and wounded per day the previous week, that figure has risen to 1,400 this week, states Colonel Ants Kiviselg, head of the Estonian Defense Forces' Intelligence Centre, according to ERR.

Estonian intelligence has identified the hottest sectors of the front as:

  • The Kostiantynivka direction;
  • The Pokrovsk direction;
  • The Lyman direction.

Although Russia continues to claim that its forces have fully captured Kostiantynivka, those assertions do not correspond to reality.

Kiviselg also confirmed that Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to push back Russian troops successfully in the area of Oleksandrivka.

According to him, successful Ukrainian operations are forcing Russian forces to redeploy reserves to areas where the situation is rapidly deteriorating for them.

Estonian intelligence believes Ukraine will have a strong opportunity in the future to weaken Russia's ability to respond quickly to changing tactical situations along specific sections of the front.

Kiviselg also noted that Russia's fuel crisis continues to worsen.

While the Kremlin insists the problem will soon be resolved, that appears unlikely.

"It should be noted that the damage Ukraine is inflicting is truly significant, and its consequences will be felt for quite some time," the Estonian colonel said.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported how Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) destroyed a Tu-95 strategic bomber in Engels.

The outlet also reported that Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces had successfully struck 12 Russian vessels in the Black Sea.

In addition, details have emerged about a new Ukrainian operation targeting Russia's naval fleet.
