Early in the morning, Russian forces struck Huliaipole in the Dnipropetrovsk region with two ballistic missiles. The attack caused deaths and destruction, reports the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine.

According to the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, the attack occurred around 9:15 AM Kyiv time. Russians likely used Iskander-M missiles.

As a result of the strike, the following were destroyed and damaged:

  • a cultural center;
  • two shops;
  • private homes.

There are also reports of casualties and deaths among the local population. Details are still being confirmed.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

Since the start of the war, Russia has regularly attacked Ukraine. Frontline regions have suffered the most from air attacks. The enemy uses a range of missile types, drones, artillery, and guided aviation bombs.

On June 24, Russian forces carried out one of the deadliest attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region since the full-scale invasion began. Reports said the attack caused a large number of deaths and injuries.
