On the night of May 29, a drone crashed into a residential building in the Romanian city of Galați. The incident sparked a fire, according to Faytuks Network and the official Facebook page of the Romanian Emergency Response Service.
Around 2:42 a.m., media began reporting that a drone had struck a residential building in Galați, Romania. It was suspected to be a Russian drone, as Russia was simultaneously carrying out a massive drone attack on Ukraine’s Odesa region (Galați is located close to that region).
"Initial reports suggest that a Russian drone has struck an apartment building in Galați, Romania. The incident occurred shortly after authorities issued an alert warning of the “possibility of falling objects from surrounding airspace,'" wrote Faytuks Network.

"ISU Galați forces and resources arrived at the scene to deal with the aftermath of the incident and secure the area, with the support of other Ministry of Internal Affairs units and specialized SRI teams. Two people who were in the apartment that caught fire evacuated themselves. No casualties have been found so far," the statement reads.
