The number of wounded in Kyiv has increased due to a combined Russian strike on Kyiv on the night of July 31. There are already 88 known victims, according to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

The number of victims in Kyiv has risen to 88. Of these, 46 were hospitalized, including at least 10 children.

"There is information that a 5-month-old girl is among the victims. 5 children are in the hospital," Tkachenko says.

Many of the victims were diagnosed with multiple injuries, shrapnel wounds, and cuts. Medical personnel are providing all necessary assistance.

Russian night attack on Kyiv

Russia attacked Kyiv with Shahed drones at night, and after 4:30 a.m., with cruise missiles. One of the Iskander cruise missiles, which was not shot down, hit a high-rise building in the Sviatoshinskyi district.

The internet showed what it looked like after the direct hit.

Rescuers recently pulled a man from the rubble of a destroyed building in Kyiv. The operation lasted 3 hours.

In total, Russia used 309 Shahed-type strike drones and drone simulators from the directions of Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation).

The Russians also launched eight Iskander-K cruise missiles from the Kursk region, only 3 of which were shot down. 5 direct Russian hits were recorded in Kyiv.
