Russian attack leaves fires and injuries across Kyiv

Russian forces launched several ballistic missiles toward Kyiv overnight. At least seven explosions were heard across the capital, and officials have already reported the first consequences of the attack, according to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.
As of 3:04 a.m., fires had broken out at several locations in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district as a result of the Russian attack. One person was reported injured.
Tkachenko said one fire broke out near a residential building, while an auto repair shop caught fire at another location. A non-residential building is also on fire.
At 5:26 a.m., Tymur Tkachenko reported that the number of injured residents in the capital had risen to two.
Background
During the night of June 28, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv.
The last large-scale ballistic missile attack on the Ukrainian capital took place on June 15. On that occasion, Russian forces carried out a combined attack using both missiles and drones.
