Russian attack hits Odesa region near Romanian border: Ports and civilian infrastructure targeted

Russian forces attacked the Odesa region with drones overnight on September 27. The strikes on port and civilian infrastructure caused a fire, according to the Izmail District State Administration.
"Overnight on September 27, the enemy launched an aerial attack on the city of Kiliia. Port and civilian infrastructure came under attack," the statement said.
The Izmail District State Administration added that emergency workers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine quickly extinguished the fires following the attack. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Attacks on Odesa region
As a reminder, Russian forces regularly attack the Odesa region, using drones, missiles and other weapons.
In particular, on September 25, Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper reported that the enemy attacked residential areas and the postal operator's logistics facilities overnight.
We also reported that on September 21, Russian forces attacked warehouse facilities, causing a fire. These were the same warehouses that had previously been targeted.
In addition, on September 4, Russian forces struck warehouse facilities twice with drones, where food and industrial goods were stored.
