Russian assault groups surge 18% in July amid rising losses – Ukrainian commander

The number of Russian troops involved in assault operations increased in July, along with the number of Russian personnel being hit by Ukrainian forces, Robert Brovdi (Madyarcall sing Madyar), commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces.
Why the number of Russian assault groups is growing
According to Madyar, Russian forces are primarily trying to "patch the gap" between false reports about their own positions and the actual situation along the front line.
To do this, they are increasing infiltration groups tasked with reaching Ukrainian positions and taking photos or videos as proof. The commander described the mission as a "one-way ticket."
The reason for the rush, he said, is either upcoming inspections or punishment that has already been handed down by Russian commanders.

The actual number of Russian personnel involved in assault operations increased by 18% in July compared with May and by 12% compared with June. The figures are based on daily analysis by the intelligence center of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces.
How many casualties is Russia suffering
The number of Russian personnel destroyed by Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces pilots increased by 11% in July compared with June and is expected to surpass 11,000 personnel.
As of July 25, the tally stood at 9,028 verified strikes against Russian personnel, with nearly seven days of the month still remaining.
The daily average in July stands at 365 Russian personnel killed or otherwise destroyed, compared with 310 in May and 329 in June.
What is happening with mobilization in Russia
Madyar noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has not publicly announced a new mobilization campaign, apparently for reasons related to the September elections. However, covert recruitment is continuing, and modern intelligence methods make it impossible to hide signs of the ongoing buildup, he said.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Putin was preparing to expand mobilization in Russia and planned to recruit additional soldiers from North Korea.
Several days ago, the president said Ukrainian intelligence had clear information about additional recruitment for the Russian military in the coming months, adding that the new mobilization wave would be substantial.
