Russian troops have reduced the use of guided bombs to strike the Kharkiv region, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

According to Syniehubov, settlements in Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and Bohodukhiv districts, which are located near the border with Russia, are constantly under enemy fire.

"The situation is the same in the Lypetsk and Vovchansk directions. The enemy continues to strike, but today we recorded a much smaller number of guided bombs. Previously, we recorded 30 to 60 such strikes per day, but now we have only a few and two missile strikes," said the head of the Military Administration.

The situation in the Kharkiv region

Yesterday the Operational-Tactical Group Kharkiv reported that Russian troops intensified shelling in the Kharkiv direction, particularly in the area of Vovchansk. Moreover, the Russian army is concentrating its forces and equipment there.

The Russian troops attack Kharkiv and the region every day.

Thus, on August 6, they launched an Iskander missile strike on the center of Kharkiv. The shelling resulted in casualties.
