The Russian army carried out a drone strike on the city center of Kharkiv during the day on Tuesday, May 13, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.

"A strike by a Molniya-type UAV on the central part of the city has been recorded," Terekhov reported.

At the same time, Syniehubov clarified that the impact of the enemy Molniya-type drone was initially recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. However, he later specified that the strike took place in the Kholodnohirskyi district of the city.

"As of now, there are no casualties. Relevant emergency services are heading to the impact site," he wrote.

Attack on Kharkiv

Recently, the Russian army has intensified its attacks on Kharkiv. Russia regularly uses drones and targets civilian infrastructure, posing an increased threat to ordinary citizens.

In particular, on the night of May 6, Kharkiv was struck by 20 Shahed drones across four districts of the city, hitting eight locations.

Late in the evening on May 2, at least 17 strikes were recorded in the city. Several districts were affected, and the number of injured reached 51 people, including two children.
