Russian forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region are suffering significant personnel losses, according to data from the DeepState project and Andriy Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Analysts from the DeepState project reported, citing their own sources, that in September, fighters from the 3rd Assault Battalion of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment cleared three villages in the Dnipropetrovsk region, while another village was cleared by the 141st Separate Mechanized Brigade.

Most positions have been handed over to other mechanized units, and stabilization measures are currently underway.

For security reasons, the results of the operation have not been indicated on the map.

At the same time, according to analysts, Russian forces have resumed assault operations on Novoselivka and Sichneve, but the Defense Forces are working to prevent the enemy from consolidating their positions.

Further south of these villages, the enemy managed to breach the Ukrainian defensive lines, which are now attempting to push the enemy back from the approaches to Orestopil.

The NSDC Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) highlighted the successful performance of the Defense Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

“The clearing of settlements from Russian forces also shows that in modern warfare, extended enemy assaults stretch their groups, depriving them of rear support, and Russia’s manpower is noticeably lower than it was about three months ago,” stated CCD head Andriy Kovalenko.

Combat operations in the Dnipropetrovsk region

Earlier, Russian forces circulated a statement and propaganda video claiming the alleged capture of the village of Verbove in the Dnipropetrovsk region. However, this information is not true.

The command of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade explained that only an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) had infiltrated Verbove, attempting to film a staged video of a flag being raised. The intruders were subsequently eliminated by units of the 110th Brigade. The military emphasized that Verbove remains under the control of the 110th Brigade.

Previously, Russian representatives also claimed the alleged capture of the village of Kalynivske in Dnipropetrovsk, but this information was also false.

At the same time, Russian forces did manage to occupy five villages in the region: Novoheorhiivka, Zaporizke, Sichneve (Yanvarske), Maliivka, and Vorona.

The Defense Forces continue to hold positions in seven other settlements, where active combat operations are ongoing.
