Russian army plans to involve students from occupied territories in repairing equipment - NRC
Russia plans to arrange internships for students from occupied territories at workshops of the Russian Armed Forces, specifically to repair Russian equipment, reports the National Resistance Center (NRC).
According to the information resource, this pertains to students from seized technical schools. The Russians plan to organize internships for them at production workshops where the damaged equipment of Russian forces is repaired.
The National Resistance Center (NRC) emphasized that this move deliberately puts the youths in danger and hides behind their backs.
"This latest violation of international law will not go unpunished," the statement reads.
At the end of the publication, the NRC urged people to continue reporting on the situation and anyone involved in sending students to these internships, so that not a single criminal escapes justice.
The NRC also noted that the Russians continue a large-scale campaign to recruit youth from temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. This includes creating a network of various patriotic organizations. For instance, in August, it was reported that a new branch of the so-called "Molodaya gvardiya" was established in the settlement of Vesele in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The information resource pointed out that these Russian structures present themselves as platforms for self-realization, leadership development, and patriotic education.
Previously, it was reported that Russia is introducing mandatory military training in all schools in the occupied territories of Ukraine. This includes a new subject called "Fundamentals of Security and Homeland Protection" for students in grades 8 and 10.
