The Russian forces also attacked the Putyvl community with a drone. As of now, 11 people have been reported injured.
Among the victims are a 6-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl. A pregnant woman was also injured and has been hospitalized.
"The condition of all is stable; they are receiving the necessary medical care. This is further evidence that civilians, including minors, suffer from Russian attacks," Hryhorov noted.
He clarified that some of the injured are experiencing only acute stress reactions without physical wounds.
Attacks on the Sumy region
The Russian forces have intensified attacks on the Sumy region amid their attempts to create a buffer zone in the area.
According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, over the past week, Russian troops advanced about 200 meters in the region. Ukrainian defenders then pushed them back by 200–400 meters.
