Russian army bombed Kharkiv region, woman killed
In today's shelling of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region by Russian forces, one civilian was killed and six others were injured, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
A criminal case has been opened for violations of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on June 19 at approximately 4:20 p.m., Russian forces carried out airstrikes on Kharkiv.
In the Kyiv district, a children's camp was hit, injuring a 39-year-old employee. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, two strikes were on another children's camp, damaging a neighboring private residence. A 47-year-old camp employee suffered an acute stress reaction.
Around 4:30 p.m., airstrikes targeted a residential area in the village of Vilkhivka in the Kharkiv district. A 49-year-old woman was killed, and a 59-year-old man was injured.
Preliminary data indicates that Russian forces used modified UMPB D-30 aerial bombs from the Belgorod region for the strikes on Kharkiv and Vilkhivka.
At approximately 4:00 p.m., Russian military forces conducted an airstrike on the village of Novoosynove in the Kupiansk district, damaging private homes and vehicles. A 51-year-old resident was hospitalized with injuries, while a 73-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man suffered concussions.
Additionally, earlier today, the Russian army carried out artillery shelling of the village of Zahryzove in the Izium district, damaging more than 10 residential houses.
As previously reported, on June 19, the Russian army struck Kharkiv with three KAB bombs, injuring one woman.
