Russian army again increased number of missile carriers in Black Sea
Russian forces have reportedly increased the number of Kalibr missile carriers in the Black Sea for the second time within a day, raising the level of missile threat to an exceptionally high level, according to the Southern Ukraine Defense Forces.
"In the Black Sea, the adversary has increased the number of missile carriers. One small missile ship has been added to the two frigates. The combined salvo of Kalibr missiles in this configuration could reach up to 24 units," according to a statement from the Southern Ukraine Defense Forces.
The message emphasizes that the level of missile threat is exceptionally high, urging Ukrainians to be vigilant regarding air raid signals.
Russian army has not used Kalibr missiles for a long time
Yesterday evening, on January 31, occupants deployed surface-to-surface missile carriers into the Black Sea, resulting in an exceptionally high level of missile threat. As of 20:00, there were 13 Russian ships in the Black Sea. The adversary brought a submarine missile carrier into the base but placed two frigates on duty.
Recently, the Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, mentioned that Russians have not employed Kalibr missiles for strikes against Ukraine in a while. This might be linked to the complexity of maintaining the systems producing these missiles, as well as attempts to lull the vigilance of Ukrainians.
According to the latest data from the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia possesses approximately 900 high-precision long-range missiles.
