Russian airstrike on Ukraine's Sumy injures 6 civilians, including 3 children

Overnight on July 28, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on Sumy, leaving at least six civilians injured, according to Sumy City Military Administration head Serhii Kryvosheienko.
"As a result of a nighttime Russian airstrike using two guided aerial bombs on a residential area of Sumy, six people were injured, including three children aged 6, 3, and 10," Kryvosheienko confirmed.
According to him, the 10-year-old boy has already been hospitalized. The other victims received medical assistance at the scene of the attack.

The head of the city military administration also said that two injured women, aged 38 and 39, sustained minor injuries and are being treated on an outpatient basis.

In addition, a 71-year-old man was injured. His condition is currently satisfactory.
"Preliminarily, around 12 houses were damaged and three houses were destroyed," Kryvosheienko concluded.

On the evening of July 26, seven people were injured in a Russian airstrike on Sumy involving seven guided aerial bombs and attack drones.
"Among them is one child who remains hospitalized. Another person is being treated in a medical facility, while five people are receiving outpatient treatment," the head of the city military administration said at the time.
Ukraine's air defenses repelled another Russian attack on July 28.
It has also become known that Putin is looking for funding to continue the war against Ukraine.
