Russian aviation carried out a strike on the Kharkiv region, resulting in casualties. Rescuers continue to work at the scene, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Telegram channel of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

As a result of an airstrike carried out by Russian aviation on the frontline village of Tsupivka, which is part of the Derhachi community in the Kharkiv region, significant destruction of the residential sector occurred. The impact of an aerial bomb caused a fire in two private houses.

Additionally, according to preliminary data, four people were injured, including an 18-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man, who were taken to the hospital. Their condition is stable.

The explosion damaged about 30 houses, five of which were almost completely destroyed. In addition, dozens of outbuildings sustained significant damage.

There is information that more people may be trapped under the rubble of a residential building. Rescue operations are currently ongoing.

According to preliminary data, the enemy used guided munitions, the type of which is being determined.

State Emergency Service units working at the scene are operating under the constant threat of renewed enemy shelling. They are extinguishing fires, clearing the debris, rescuing people, and trying to minimize the consequences of the attack.

Attack on Ukraine

Early in the morning on February 24, 2025, Russian forces carried out an airstrike with a guided bomb on Kharkiv, targeting a civilian enterprise. The explosion occurred around 4 a.m. Kyiv time on the city's outskirts, in the Kyivskyi district, damaging the facility.

In the Kyiv region, debris from an enemy drone struck an unfinished multi-story building during a nighttime attack. Rescuers promptly extinguished the fire.
