The number of casualties from the strikes on Zaporizhzhia on August 30 has risen again. Thirty people were wounded, reports Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

"Thirty wounded already: victims of the nighttime enemy attack continue to seek medical assistance," Fedorov wrote.

He added that most of the injured suffered shrapnel wounds, cuts, and acute stress reactions.

Zaporizhzhia under Russian attack

As reported, Russians launched at least 12 strikes on Zaporizhzhia overnight. Fourteen apartment buildings and more than 40 private homes were damaged. The attack also temporarily left about 25,000 people without electricity.

Overall, Russian forces fired 45 missiles and 537 drones across Ukraine that night. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 548 targets, including 38 missiles and 510 drones.
