Russia would have long lost war without North Korea’s support - Ukrainian Intelligence

Russia would have long lost the war in Ukraine if the Kremlin had not been supported by its allies, including North Korea, states the head of Ukrainian intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, according to the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense.
Budanov held a meeting with representatives of the foreign military-diplomatic corps, during which they discussed, among other things, countering the aggressor.
"Russia would have long lost this war. With the help of our partners, Ukraine would have reclaimed the occupied territories if it were not for the Kremlin’s support from Moscow’s allies — primarily North Korea," the head of Defense Intelligence said.
The head of Ukrainian intelligence also noted that some countries are demonstrating not entirely honest behavior. In violation of international sanctions, they allow Moscow to obtain weapons and other critical components, and their citizens agree to join the Russian army.
"I want to draw attention to the fact that some countries are still engaging in not entirely honest behavior. In defiance of international sanctions, they allow Russia to acquire weapons, ammunition, and critically important components. They also allow their own citizens to join the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces," Budanov summarized.
He also thanked Ukraine’s foreign partners for their support and warned the EU and NATO about the intensification of Russia’s hybrid warfare.
Kyrylo Budanov and allies honored the memory of intelligence officers killed in the war
The head of Defense Intelligence, together with representatives of foreign states, also paid tribute to intelligence officers who died in the war with Russia.
Officials laid flowers at the Memorial to Ukrainian Intelligence Officers.

North Korea’s support for the aggressor
As is known, North Korea has been supporting the Kremlin’s war machine throughout the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It has even reportedly sent its troops to participate in combat operations, at least in the Kursk region.
There have been multiple reports of North Korean parts found in Russian weapons discovered on Ukrainian territory, which the aggressor uses in daily attacks.
Regular secret arms shipments from North Korea to Russia are also known. In particular, it was recently reported that Moscow could resume arms deliveries from North Korea after a two-month pause.
RBC-Ukraine also reported that Russia may have received over 12 million artillery shells from North Korea.
Russia’s provocations in Europe are escalating
As is known, last month Russia launched a large-scale campaign of provocations using drones and aircraft on the territory of NATO and European Union countries.
In addition, reports have emerged of an increase in Russian provocations in Europe — Western intelligence agencies have recorded Moscow using a shadow fleet as a platform to launch drones into the airspace of Alliance countries.
RBC-Ukraine also reported on espionage in the EU in favor of Russian intelligence services. In Poland, two Russians were detained and have already been charged in connection with this case.
Besides transmitting data to the FSB, they are suspected of sending and arranging the delivery of a package with explosives via a courier service.
