Russians have already begun using strategic reserves on the front. This is evidenced by the size of the Russian grouping on the territory of Ukraine, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, Suspilne reports.
"Within a month, we destroy the same number of occupiers as they mobilize, but at the same time, the size of their grouping on the territory of Ukraine is growing. That is, we believe that by involving servicemen from the strategic reserve, they are increasing their grouping," Zelenskyy said.
The head of state noted that he had already discussed with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov how to counter the enemy.
According to him, such a step is risky for the Russians, and in this way, they are weakening their borders with other countries, where for them "the situation is not simple."
The president noted that by the end of April, the Russians want to occupy Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. However, this will be impossible for them.
"This is impossible, but this is not the first time they have set some deadline, and now they have set such a target for themselves. I have already spoken about the meeting with British intelligence — we have trusting relations with them. They also do not see opportunities for the Russians to do this," Zelenskyy added.
Situation on the front and enemy losses
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russia is trying to intensify assault activity on the front, but is only suffering even greater losses. In addition, the Russians have missed their own deadlines in three regions.
Thus, the Russian army lost more than 35 thousand soldiers in March alone. A large number of enemy soldiers were neutralized with the help of drones.
Also, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi noted that in March, the total personnel losses of the Russian army inflicted by units of Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine increased by 29%.
In addition to the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russia plans to create a new buffer zone on the border with Ukraine, in the Vinnytsia region, from the side of unrecognized Transnistria.
