Russian forces have begun attaching mock R-60 missiles to Shahed-type drones. The goal is to intimidate Ukraine's Air Force and draw the attention of interceptor units, says Ukrainian Defense Ministry advisor Serhii "Flash" Bezkrestnov.

“Army aviation knows how to respond to such things. But we have many interceptor units across different branches and agencies, and of course, everyone will try to destroy such an important target regardless of the resources spent. That's exactly what the enemy is counting on,” Bezkrestnov wrote.

According to him, there is now a need to develop a way to identify such Shahed drones carrying fake missiles.

Earlier, it was reported that Russia continues to refine its drone capabilities, initially copying and later adapting technologies from Iran.

For example, Bezkrestnov recently said that Russian forces are now dropping up to eight munitions per day from a single Shahed attack drone, with explosives mounted under the wings.
