Russia unable to launch Shahed drone strikes on Ukraine 24/7
The Russian army tries to make the Shahed launch in Ukraine a round-the-clock operation. However, it cannot conduct intensive attacks at night and during the day, stated Andriy Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council.
“As I warned at the beginning of the month, Russians try to make the Shahed attacks a round-the-clock operation. However, the enemy currently lacks the industrial capacity to sustain such intensive attacks both day and night. They are not producing enough drones," Kovalenko said.
He added that Russia launches isolated Shahed drones, which leads to prolonged air alerts. Some of these drones are primarily used for reconnaissance purposes.
He emphasized that it is important for Ukraine to attack Shahed production facilities and to adapt.
