Ukrainian troops repelled 18 enemy attacks in the Maryinka direction and continued assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

Over the past day, 48 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy launched 5 missiles and 61 air attacks and fired more than 60 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas.

Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Air attacks were carried out in:

  • Leonivka, Popivka in the Chernihiv region;
  • Seredyna-Buda, the Sumy region;
  • Synkivka, Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region;
  • Serebryansky Forestry in the Luhansk region;
  • Spirne, Andriivka, Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region;
  • Mala Tokmachka, Urozhaine, in the Zaporizhzhia region;
  • Zmiivka, Novoberyslav, Kozatske in the Kherson region.

More than 150 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

The situation at the frontlines

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions remains unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted assault operations in the vicinity of Synkivka and east of Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region, where the Defense Forces repelled three attacks.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted an assault near Siversk, Donetsk region, and was unsuccessful.

In the Bakhmut direction, our defenders repelled 5 enemy attacks near Klishchiivka and east of Pivdenne, Donetsk region.

Ukrainian defense forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, the occupants continue their attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

The enemy's offensive actions east of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Severne, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful, where the Defense Forces repelled 13 attacks.

In the Maryinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Our troops repelled 18 attacks there.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the occupants conducted assault operations near Staromaiorske, Donetsk region, but were unsuccessful.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of Robotyne and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to conduct an offensive in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

In the Kherson direction, our soldiers continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, conducting counter-battery combat, and inflicting fire on the enemy's rear.

Enemy losses

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck the control center, 6 attacks on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and 2 attacks on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

Missile troops hit the control center, 3 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, as well as 2 enemy ammunition depots.

As a reminder, the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion is 319,820.
