Russia-Ukraine war: Situation on the front as of November 11

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region and conduct an offensive operation in the direction of Melitopol. Over the past day, there have been 87 combat engagements, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Enemy attacks
Over the past day, the adversary carried out 5 missile and 83 aviation strikes, conducting 102 shelling attacks with rocket artillery on the positions of our troops and populated areas, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Furthermore, Russia once again attacked Ukraine, employing 2 guided aviation missiles Kh-59, an anti-ship missile Oniks, a guided C-300 anti-aircraft missile, a guided Kh-31 missile, and 31 strike UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type. One Kh-59 missile and 19 strike UAVs were successfully neutralized by the air defense systems.
As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings, port infrastructure, automotive transport, and other civilian infrastructure have suffered destruction and damage.
Aviation strikes targeted the following locations: Petropavlivka, Chervonyi Stav in the Kharkiv region; Novoehorivka, Serebrianske Forestry area in the Luhansk region; Spirne, Verkhniokamyanske, Klishchiivka, Siversk, Arkhangelske, Keramik, Berdychiv, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Storozheve, Staromykhailivske, Urozhaine in the Donetsk region; Novodanylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region; Ivanivka, Berislav in the Kherson region.
Over 110 populated areas in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
The frontline situation
In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group North in the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanskedirections, the adversary maintains military presence in border areas, engaging in active subversive activities to prevent the redeployment of our forces to critical directions. They are increasing the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Khortytsia in the Kupiansk direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, conducted assault actions in the areas of Synkivka, northeast of Petropavlivka, Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region. Our defenders repelled 8 attacks in these areas.
In the Lyman direction, the adversary, with aviation support, conducted assault actions near Novoehorivka, Nevsky, and Serebrianske Forestry area in the Luhansk region, without success.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 16 attacks by occupiers near Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment and consolidating their positions at achieved lines.
In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Tavria on the Avdiivka direction, the enemy, utilizing aviation, persists in attempting to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian defenders hold their ground resiliently, inflicting significant losses on the adversary. Ukrainian forces repelled 35 attacks by invaders east of Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, south of Tonenke, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, the adversary, with aviation support, conducted assault actions in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 18 enemy attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy, with aviation support, conducted unsuccessful assault actions near Staromykhailivske in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the adversary conducted assault actions in the area of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region, without success.
Simultaneously, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on occupying forces in personnel and equipment and wearing down the enemy along the entire frontline.
In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group Odesa in the Kherson direction, our soldiers engage in counter-battery combat, delivering fire strikes to the enemy's rear areas.
Enemy losses
Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces conducted 11 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment of the enemy.
Units of the missile forces targeted 8 artillery pieces, a command post, 4 areas of concentration of personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, an air defense system, an ammunition depot, and 4 stations of the enemy's electronic warfare.
