Russia-Ukraine war: Situation on the front as of November 10

Ukrainian defenders repelled over 25 enemy attacks in the Maryinka direction and are advancing in the direction of Melitopol. Missile units have hit 4 artillery pieces and the enemy's radio-electronic reconnaissance station, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
Over the past day, there were 69 combat clashes. In total, the enemy delivered 2 missile and 26 aviation strikes and conducted 62 shelling attacks with reactive multiple rocket launch systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damage and destruction.
Aviation strikes occurred in:
- Kurylivka, Kharkiv region;
- Bilohorivka, Luhansk region;
- Siversk, Petropavlivka, Stepove, Novoselivka, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Pavlivka, Donetsk region;
- Novodarivka, Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.
Over 125 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.
Frontline situation
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, actively conducts sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched unsuccessful assault actions near the settlement of Synkivka in the Kharkiv region, where our defenders repelled 7 enemy attacks.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted assault actions near Stelmakhivka and Novoiehorivka in the Luhansk region without success.
In the Bahmut direction, our soldiers repelled about 10 attacks by occupiers in the areas of Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian defense forces continue to inflict losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment and consolidate on the achieved lines.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy continues its attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers steadfastly hold the defense and inflict significant losses on the invaders. The enemy conducted assault actions southeast of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 9 enemy attacks.
In the Maryinka direction, the enemy launched unsuccessful assault actions in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Here, defense forces repelled over 25 attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault actions south of Zolota Nyva and Staramaiorske in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, our defenders repelled 4 enemy attacks in the areas of Verbove and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive
Ukrainian defense forces continue the offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, causing losses in personnel and equipment to the occupying forces and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
In the Kherson direction, our soldiers engage in counter-battery combat and deliver fire strikes on the enemy's rear areas.
Enemy losses
During the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces aviation inflicted 4 strikes on areas of personnel concentration, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy.
Missile units hit 2 command points, 4 artillery pieces, and the enemy's radio-electronic reconnaissance station.
