The Russians unsuccessfully attempted to regain lost ground in the area near Klishchiivka. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces continue their offensive operation in the direction of Melitopol, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

During the night, Russian forces launched around 40 combat drones Shahed toward Ukrainian territory. Ukrainian defenses managed to shoot down 30 of these drones within the Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Vinnytsia regions. In total, the enemy carried out 8 missile strikes and 71 airstrikes, as well as 17 artillery shelling attacks using multiple rocket launch systems against the positions of Ukrainian forces and civilian areas.

These Russian terrorist attacks resulted in casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure also suffered damage and destruction.

The frontline situation

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions has not seen significant changes. There are no signs of the formation of offensive groups.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, continues shelling populated areas from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine-explosive obstacles along the Ukrainian state border.

Russian forces conducted an airstrike in the vicinity of Halahanivka, Chernihiv region. Additionally, more than 25 populated areas were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy, including Vilchky in Chernihiv region, Progress, Mykytivka, Yastrubshchyna, Kyndrativka, Myropillia, Popivka, Oleksandrivka in Sumy region, as well as Lemyshchynе in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted an aerial strike near Novoselivske in the Luhansk region. Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Lyman direction, populated areas affected by enemy aerial strikes included Nevske, Novoliubivka, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Terni, Spirne, and Vesele in the Donetsk region. The aggressors shelled Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirne, Rozdolivka, and Dibrova in the Donetsk region with artillery and mortars.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost ground in the vicinity of Klishiivka, Donetsk region. They conducted aerial strikes near Klishiivka, Andriivka, and New York in the Donetsk region.

More than 10 populated areas, including Markove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, and New York in the Donetsk region, came under artillery and mortar fire. An increase in the density of mine-explosive barriers is being observed.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Novoselivka, east of Stepove, and Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out an aerial strike near Avdiivka. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Toneinke, Karlivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Maryinka direction, over the course of the day, the Defense Forces successfully repelled nine attacks in the area of Maryinka, Donetsk region. The enemy conducted aerial strikes near Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

Populated areas such as Oleksandrivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, and Yelyzavetivka in the Donetsk region were under artillery and mortar fire from the occupiers.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions. The occupiers conducted aerial strikes near Prechystivka, Urozhaine, and Staramayorsk in the Donetsk region. Approximately 15 populated areas, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in the area of Novodarivka, Zaporizhzhia region. The occupiers conducted aerial strikes in the vicinity of the populated areas of Novodanylivka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

More than 25 populated areas, including Chervone, Huliaipole, Charivne, Orikhiv, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, were subjected to artillery and mortar fire.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy conducted an aerial strike in the vicinity of Mykolaivka in the Kherson region. Over 25 populated areas, including Zolota Balka, Sablukivka, Zmiivka, Odradokamianka, Antonivka, Stanislav in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson itself, experienced enemy artillery and mortar shelling.

Offensive by Ukrainian Armed Forces

Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operations in the Melitopol direction and conduct offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction. They inflict casualties on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment, and are wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.

Enemy losses during the day

During the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense aviation conducted 14 strikes on areas with concentrations of personnel, armaments, and military equipment, as well as 8 strikes on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.

Units of the missile troops hit 6 anti-aircraft missile systems and 9 artillery pieces of the enemy.

It should be noted that the total number of casualties in the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion has reached 278,130 soldiers.
