The Ukrainian military is conducting offensive operations in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions and consolidating their positions at achieved frontlines. Over the past day, there have been 25 combat engagements, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy attacks

The enemy launched 2 missile strikes and 59 airstrikes, conducting 56 shelling attacks with rocket artillery systems, targeting both our military positions and civilian objects in our state.

Additionally, yesterday, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with 22 kamikaze-type drones of the Shahed-136/131 model, of which 17 were destroyed by Ukraine's air defense means.

Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population. The port infrastructure, private residential houses, and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damage.

Aerial strikes affected populated areas such as Strilecha, Pletenivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kotlyarivka in the Kharkiv region; Nadiya, Novoiehorivka in the Luhansk region; Klischiivka, Krasnohorivka, Vodyane, Prechystivka, Novomaiorske, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region; Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Approximately 100 populated areas in the Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions have come under artillery fire.

Frontline situation

In the area of responsibility of the North operational-strategic group in the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy continues to maintain troop concentrations along the state border, conducts active sabotage activities in border areas to prevent the redeployment of our troops to threatened directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to make attempts to breach the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Bohdanivka area.

In turn, the Defense Forces have achieved partial success in the Klischiivka area during their offensive actions. They have captured Andriivka in the Donetsk region, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment, and are consolidating their positions at the achieved frontlines.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group in the Avdiivka and Maryinka directions, the enemy's attempts to advance in the areas of Lastochkyne and Avdiivka in the Donetsk region have been unsuccessful.

During the past day, the enemy made about 10 unsuccessful attempts to displace our units from their positions in the Maryinka area of the Donetsk region. Moreover, all enemy attacks in the Maryinka area have resulted in significant losses for the occupiers in terms of personnel and equipment.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Ukrainian soldiers maintain the initiative, exert pressure on the enemy, conduct assault operations, and reclaim our land.

In the Melitopol direction, the Defense Forces continue their offensive operation, inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces in terms of personnel and equipment in the vicinity of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to conduct counter-battery warfare, destroy supply depots, and successfully strike at the enemy's rear areas.

Advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to defend in the east and south of Ukraine, conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol direction, and advance in the Bakhmut direction. They are eliminating the enemy step by step, liberating temporarily occupied territories, and consolidating their positions at the achieved frontlines.

Enemy losses

During the past day, the aircraft of the Defense Forces launched 10 strikes on areas of enemy personnel and military equipment concentrations.

Using missile troops and artillery units, as well as unmanned systems, one enemy command post, three anti-aircraft missile complexes, five artillery systems, and one enemy ammunition depot were targeted and damaged.
