Enemy attacks

Last night, the Russian Federation launched another missile and aviation strike on our country's territory. Information about the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

Over the past day, the enemy conducted 7 missile and 47 aviation strikes, as well as 69 artillery strikes from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population as a result of Russian terrorist attacks. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged.

The possibility of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

Frontline situation

The operational situation on the Volyn and Polissia directions has not changed significantly.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Bobylivka and Volfyne, Sumy region. They also conducted mortar and artillery shelling of over 25 populated areas, including Khrinivka, Turia, Bleshnia, Yanzhulivka, Mykolaivka, Hai in the Chernihiv region; Obiednane, Khodyne, Uhroiidy, Novodmytrivka, Popivka in the Sumy region, and Chervona Zoria, Strilecha, Hatyshe, Mala Vovcha, Topoli in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Novoyehorivka in the Luhansk region. They also carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Orlianske in the Kharkiv region and Nadiia, Tverdokhlibove in the Luhansk region. Settlements Dvorichna, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Spirne, Rozdolivka, and Vesele in the Donetsk region. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy targeted the settlements of Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Spirne and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Ivanivka, Klischiivka, and Bila Hora in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements, including Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Markove, Bakhmut, Ivanivka, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy's attempts to advance south of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful. Over 10 settlements, including Keramik, Berdychiv, Vodyane, Karlivka, Netaylove, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery shelling.

In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the areas northeast of Novomykhailivka and Maryinka in the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out an aviation strike in the area of Krasnohorivka. Settlements including Zhelanne Pershe, Oleksandropil, Pobeda, Katerynivka, Yelyzavetivka, and Illinka in the Donetsk region experienced artillery shelling.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Blahodatne and Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements, including Maksymivka, Shakhtarske, Velyka Novosilka, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske, and Vilne Pole in the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Levadne, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, and Orikhove in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over 20 settlements, including Levadne, Hulyaipole, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, and Plavne, suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Tyahynka and Naddniprianske in the Kherson region. More than 20 settlements, including Lvove, Kherson, Komyshany, Bilozirka, Kizomys, and Posad-Pokrovske in the Kherson region, and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.

Advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery measures.

Occupiers prepare "elections"

In one of the temporarily occupied settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, the occupation authorities have taken into account the negative experience of organizing a pseudo-referendum. Therefore, they plan to hold "elections" in a mixed format: a staged vote at polling stations and door-to-door visits to apartments and houses.

The door-to-door visits are scheduled to start early. Beginning on August 30 of this year, representatives of the occupation authorities will start visiting apartments to collect votes. Additionally, individuals from the territory of the Russian Federation are being brought into this region and settled in the abandoned homes of local residents. This fact is linked to the preparation of vote falsification and the creation of a necessary image for Russian media.

Pressure on the local population to obtain Russian passports is also increasing. Specifically, it is now a requirement that utility bills, internet, and mobile phone payments cannot be made without Russian citizenship. To intensify pressure on the local population, an increased number of Chechen military personnel are noted in this region, acting aggressively and harshly enforcing curfew rules on local residents.

Enemy losses

During the past day, Ukrainian defense aviation conducted 1 strike on a command post, 13 strikes on personnel concentration areas, and 3 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile complexes.

Units of the missile forces and artillery hit 2 command posts, 2 areas of personnel concentration, weapons, and military equipment, 5 artillery units in firing positions, 1 anti-aircraft defense system, 1 ammunition depot, and 1 enemy radio-electronic warfare station during the day.
