Russian forces continue attempts to break through the defenses of Ukrainian troops. Over the past 24 hours, 143 combat clashes were recorded, with the heaviest fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions, according to the General Staff of Ukraine.

"Operational information as of 08:00 on November 2, 2025, regarding the Russian invasion. The 1,348th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun. In total, 143 combat clashes were recorded over the past day," the report said.

According to the military, yesterday the enemy launched four missile and 74 air strikes, used four missiles, and dropped 139 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces carried out 3,745 shelling attacks, including 101 from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 6,295 kamikaze drones.

Areas hit by air strikes included the settlements of Huliaipole, Nechaivka, Malynivka, and Stepove in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Olhivka in Kherson region.

At the same time, over the past 24 hours, missile and artillery units of the Defense Forces struck six areas where Russian personnel were concentrated and destroyed two enemy artillery systems.

Situation by direction

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, there were five combat clashes over the past day. The enemy carried out five air strikes, dropping 15 guided bombs, and conducted 184 shelling attacks, including nine from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian defense positions nine times in the areas of Vovchansk, Kamyanka, and toward Kolodiazne and Dvorichanske.

In the Kupiansk direction, three combat clashes took place yesterday. Ukrainian defenders stopped enemy assault actions near Pishchane.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked five times, trying to breach Ukrainian defenses near the settlements of Korovii Yar, Zarichne, Stavky, and toward Lyman.

In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped five enemy assaults near the settlements of Yampil, Dronivka, Serebrianka, Pereizne, Fedorivka, and Hryhorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations yesterday.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy launched 19 attacks in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and toward the settlements of Kostiantynivka and Berestok.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 50 enemy assaults near the settlements of Shakhove, Myrnohrad, Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Dorozhne, Nykonorivka, Udachne, Mykolaivka, Kozatske, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Filiia, Dachne, and toward Pokrovsk and Hryshyne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out 18 attacks near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Sichneve, Ternove, Verbove, Oleksiivka, Pavlivka, Pryvilne, Rybne, and toward Danylivka.

In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped one enemy attempt to advance near Novomykolaivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks near the settlements of Shcherbaky and Kamianske.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy assault toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

Russian losses

Despite active Russian actions, Ukrainian troops continue to inflict significant losses on enemy personnel and equipment, undermining the invaders’ offensive potential in the rear.

In particular, Russian forces lost 940 personnel over the past day. Ukrainian troops also destroyed four armored fighting vehicles, 25 artillery systems, 348 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 121 units of enemy automotive equipment.

It is worth noting that Ukraine’s 2nd National Guard Corps Khartiya destroyed over 600 Russian troops in October.
