Russian troops continue to suffer heavy losses in the war in Ukraine. In October, the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine Khartiia destroyed more than 600 Russian personnel.

During the month, units within the 2nd Corps' area of responsibility neutralized 619 Russian troops. In addition to personnel losses, they destroyed significant Russian military equipment, including:

  • 98 vehicles and motorcycles;
  • 7 armored vehicles;
  • Over 70 strike and reconnaissance drones;
  • More than 1,000 FPV drones;
  • 22 artillery units;
  • 24 field supply depots;
  • 35 drone launch sites and control points.

The corps is also forming a new unit — the first robotic battalion, Lava. It will employ the latest technologies in aerial and ground unmanned systems.

"Join Lava and destroy the enemy with intelligence. To participate, call the hotline at 3333," the press service said.

Russian losses in the war against Ukraine

As of November 1, Ukraine continues to record significant Russian military losses on the front. In the past 24 hours alone, the enemy lost 900 personnel and dozens of equipment units.

According to the General Staff, Russia's irrecoverable personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, through November 1, 2025, have reached 1.142 million. This figure includes captured, wounded, and otherwise incapacitated occupiers, not only those killed.
