Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of September 15

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 88 combat engagements at the front. Russian forces are attacking in almost all directions, with the heaviest fighting in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy attempted offensive actions three times. Enemy aviation carried out three airstrikes, dropping a total of 11 guided bombs. The enemy also conducted 88 shelling attacks, including four with multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian forces repelled three enemy assaults near Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Ambarne, and Krasne Pershe. Seven combat engagements are still ongoing.
Since the start of the day, the enemy has attacked six times in the Kupiansk direction near Kindrashivka, Zahryzove, and toward Kupiansk; one more engagement is ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian units repelled five attacks toward Serednie, Stavky, and near Hrekivka, Derylove, Shandryholove, Kolodiazi, and Torske. Six attacks are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy attack. The enemy units are trying to advance in the areas of Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, and toward Yampil and Dronivka. Four combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, two engagements occurred with the enemy toward Stupochky and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces launched seven assaults on Ukrainian positions near Shcherbynivka, Katerynivka, and toward Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka. Ukrainian units repelled two attacks; five engagements are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the start of the day, the Russian army conducted 25 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Volodymyrivka, Zapovidne, Novoekonomichne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne, and toward Vilne, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Promin, Zvirove, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Ternove, and Novoivanivka. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 24 of these attacks.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy launched 16 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Yalta, Komyshuvakha, Vorone, and toward Filiia, Iskra, Sichneve, and Olhivske. Two engagements are ongoing.
No combat engagements were recorded in the Huliaipole direction. The enemy carried out an airstrike near Zaliznychne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked twice near Kamianka and toward Novodanylivka. The enemy carried out airstrikes near Veselianka.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks. Enemy aviation struck Mykolaivka with unguided air-launched missiles.
Russia's losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the start of the full-scale war, Russia has lost approximately 1,095,520 troops.
In particular, over the past day, Russian forces lost 910 soldiers. Ukrainian troops also destroyed 2 armored combat vehicles, 35 artillery systems, 1 multiple launch rocket system, 323 drones, and other enemy equipment yesterday.
