Over the past day, from September 14 to 15, Russian forces lost another 910 soldiers at the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed 35 artillery systems and 84 military vehicles and fuel tanks, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to September 15, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • Personnel - approximately 1,095,520 (+910) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • Tanks - 11,184;
  • Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,269 (+2);
  • Artillery systems - 32,784 (+35);
  • MLRS - 1,488 (+1);
  • Anti-aircraft systems - 1,217;
  • Aircraft - 422;
  • Helicopters - 341;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 59,409 (+323);
  • Cruise missiles - 3,718;
  • Warships/boats - 28;
  • Submarines - 1;
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks - 61,698 (+84);
  • Special equipment - 3,965 (+1).

Frontline situation

As of the evening of August 15, there were 173 combat clashes on the front. The largest number of battles was recorded in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Novopavlivka directions.

"In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers lost 128 personnel killed and wounded. Our warriors destroyed five vehicles and 18 unmanned aerial vehicles; struck one multiple launch rocket system and one cannon," the General Staff reported.
