As of 10:00 PM Kyiv time on September 14, there were 173 combat engagements along the front during the day. The highest number of clashes occurred in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Novopavlivka directions, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian shelling

The General Staff reported that since the start of the day, Russian forces carried out one missile strike and 52 airstrikes, using four rockets and dropped 73 guided bombs. In addition, the Russian army deployed 2,115 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,530 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

Frontline situation

In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, there were eight combat engagements with Russian forces. They carried out seven airstrikes, dropped 15 guided bombs, and conducted 110 artillery attacks, including one with multiple-launch rocket systems.

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked eight times near Vovchansk and in the direction of Odradne. Three combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attempted to advance on Ukrainian positions eight times near the settlements of Nova Kruhliakivka, Kindrashivka, Kupiansk, and Stepova Novoselivka. Three attacks are still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 30 Russian attacks. Eleven of these are ongoing. The enemy advanced toward Stavky and near the settlements of Shandryholove, Derylove, Kolodyazi, and Torske.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled eight enemy attacks. Russian units tried to advance in the areas of Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, Dronivka, Vyimka, and Fedorivka. One combat engagement continues.

In the Kramatorsk direction, seven combat clashes occurred near Stupochky and Oleksandro-Shultyne. Fighting continues in two locations.

In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled seven enemy attacks near Pleshchiyivka, Katerynivka, and Stepanivka. Three combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 39 times near the settlements of Fedorivka, Nikanorivka, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Sukhetske, Promin, Lysivka, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Molodetske, Novoukrainka, Filiia, Dachne, Novoivanivka, and toward Novopavlivka.

"Preliminary estimates indicate that the Russian army lost 128 personnel killed or wounded today in the Pokrovsk direction. Our troops destroyed five vehicles and 18 drones. They also hit one multiple-launch rocket system and one artillery gun," the General Staff said.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 enemy attacks near Maliivka, Tolstyi, Oleksandrohrad, Ternove, Berezove, Temyrivka, Komyshuvakha, and Olhivske. Seven combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian forces repelled an enemy attack near Poltavka. Populated areas of Bilohirya and Zaliznychne were hit by airstrikes.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched two assaults near Novoandriivka and Stepnohirsk.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five assault operations by Russian forces. Russian aviation struck Olhivka with unguided air-launched rockets.

Russian losses

Since the start of the full-scale war, the Russian army's losses have nearly reached 1.1 million personnel.

Between September 13 and 14, Russian forces lost an additional 880 soldiers in battles against Ukraine. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 42 artillery systems, 261 drones, and 102 vehicles.
