Russia's losses in Ukraine as of September 14: +880 troops and 42 artillery systems

The General Staff released approximate data on enemy losses since the start of the full-scale invasion. The statistics cover the period from February 24, 2022, to September 14, 2025, including personnel and military equipment, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.
According to the General Staff, total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to September 14, 2025, are estimated:
- Personnel - approximately 1,094,610 (+880) Russian troops were eliminated;
- Tanks - 11,184 (+3);
- Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,267;
- Artillery systems - 32,749 (+42);
- MLRS - 1,488 (+1);
- Anti-aircraft systems - 1,217;
- Aircraft - 422;
- Helicopters - 341;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 59,086 (+261);
- Cruise missiles - 3,718;
- Warships/boats - 28;
- Submarines - 1;
- Vehicles and fuel tanks - 61,614 (+102);
- Special equipment - 3,964.
These approximate figures reflect the scale of destruction within the enemy’s armed forces and serve as a basis for analyzing the effectiveness of Ukraine’s defensive operations.
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda stated that Russia’s conflict against Ukraine has demonstrated the need for the entire European Union to be prepared for defense. Lithuania serves as an example in this regard: in 2025, the country is allocating 4% of its GDP to defense needs and plans to increase spending to over 5% in 2026.
US President Donald Trump remarked that ending the war in Ukraine has proven to be a more difficult task than he anticipated. He emphasized that he had previously concluded seven conflicts and suggested that the Ukrainian conflict is likely to follow a similar pattern.
