Since the beginning of the day, there have been 152 combat engagements on the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to repel enemy attempts to advance deeper into our territory, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Attacks
Russian forces carried out one missile strike and 59 airstrikes, using two missiles and dropping 72 guided bombs. In addition, they deployed 1,977 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,416 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements.
Frontline situation
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, there were 8 combat clashes. The enemy launched 6 airstrikes, dropping a total of 14 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 174 artillery shellings, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.
The Russian army also carried out 6 attacks in the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, in the area of Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched 7 assaults in the area of Stepova Novoselivka, and toward Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and Pishchane. In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 8 assault actions near the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Serednie, Kolodiazi, and Torske.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked 20 times in the areas of Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, and toward Yampil, Dronivka, Vyiimka, and Pazene.
Since the beginning of the day in the Kramatorsk direction, Russian units attacked three times in the area of Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, there were 10 combat engagements today. The enemy attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Katerynivka, Yablunivka, Poltavka, and toward Oleksandro-Shultyne and Pleshchiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 47 attacks near the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Nove Shakhove, Zapovidne, Myroliubivka, Novoekonomichne, Shevchenko, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne, and toward Rodynske, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, and Molodetske. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding back the enemy’s pressure.
"According to preliminary data, in this direction 152 Russian soldiers were neutralized, 84 of them irreversibly," the General Staff reported.
In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 7 vehicles, a motorcycle, a piece of special equipment, 8 unmanned aerial vehicles, a UAV control post, and an ammunition depot. A vehicle, a cannon, and seven enemy personnel shelters were damaged.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 21 enemy attacks in the areas of Maliivka, Komyshuvakha, Novomykolayivka, Olhivka, and toward the settlements of Filiia, Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sichneve, Ternove, and Novoivanivka.
Over the past day, 195 combat clashes between the Defense Forces and Russian troops were recorded on the front. More than half of the enemy’s attacks took place in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions.
Losses of the Russian army
Over the past day, Russian forces lost 950 personnel.
Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized a tank, three armored fighting vehicles, 32 artillery systems, a multiple launch rocket system, 226 operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, 72 vehicles, and two units of special equipment belonging to the Russian army.
