Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of September 6

On the front lines, 184 combat engagements took place over the past day. The Russian forces carried out more than 70 airstrikes, dropping 135 guided bombs, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As reported, yesterday the enemy carried out two missile strikes and 73 airstrikes on positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using six missiles and 135 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the Russian army conducted 4,932 shelling attacks, including 32 with multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 5,781 kamikaze drones for strikes.
Yesterday, the aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces hit three artillery units, one radar station, five areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, as well as one enemy command post.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions: Ukrainian defenders repelled eight Russian attacks. The enemy carried out 14 airstrikes, dropping a total of 38 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 223 artillery strikes, including five with multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction: Seven combat engagements occurred near Vovchansk.
Kupiansk direction: Ten enemy attacks were recorded. The Defense Forces repelled assault actions in the areas of Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and Kolisnykivka.
Lyman direction: The enemy attacked 20 times, attempting to advance near the settlements of Karpivka, Andriivka, Druzheliubivka, Kolodiazi, Drobysheve, and toward Olhivka and Shandryholove.
Siversk direction: The aggressor attacked near Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, Dronivka, Fedorivka, Vyimka, and in the direction of Dibrova. In total, 20 combat engagements took place over the past day.
Toretsk direction: The enemy carried out 13 attacks in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Rusynyi Yar, and Poltavka.
Kramatorsk direction: The Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks near Stupochky.
Pokrovsk direction: Defenders stopped 48 enemy attacks near the settlements of Shakhove, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Mayak, Rubizhne, Sukhyi Yar, Shevchenko, Promin, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne, and in the directions of Filiia and Novopavlivka.
Novopavlivka direction: The Defense Forces repelled 31 enemy attacks near Zelenyi Hai, Filiia, Piddubne, Oleksandrohrad, Voskresenka, Temyrivka, Shevchenko, Maliivka, and Komyshuvakha.
Huliaipole direction: The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions during the day.
Orikhiv direction: The aggressor attacked the defenders’ positions three times near Stepnohirsk and Novodanylivka.
Prydniprovskyi direction: The enemy unsuccessfully tried three times to approach Ukrainian defensive positions.
Volyn and Polissia directions: No signs of enemy offensive group formation were detected.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost 1,087,180 personnel. In the past day, Ukrainian forces eliminated 960 Russian soldiers.
The Ministry of Defense’s Defense Intelligence reported that approximately 700,000 enemy troops are present on the territory of Ukraine.
