The fiercest battles on September 2 took place in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions. In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled over 170 Russian attacks, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past day, 172 combat clashes were recorded on the front line. Russian troops carried out 64 air strikes, using 120 guided bombs. There were also 4,918 shellings, including 77 from multiple launch rocket systems. Russia used 5,462 kamikaze drones for the attacks.

Russia carried out air strikes on settlements of Khliborob in the Sumy region, Bilohiria and Novoselivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

In response, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the area where Russia's personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated and destroyed three artillery systems.

Ukrainian soldiers repelled 11 Russian attacks in the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions. Russia carried out 8 air strikes, dropping 20 bombs, and carried out 204 shellings, including three with MLRS.

In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russians attempted to advance in the areas of Hlyboke, Vovchansk, and towards Nova Kruhliakivka and Novoplatonivka. All 7 Russian attacks were repelled.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces stopped 14 attacks in the areas of Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and Stepova Novoselivka.

In the Lyman direction, Russia stormed 20 times, trying to break through the defenses near Kolodiazi, Zarichne, as well as in the directions of Karpivka, Shandryholove, Yampil, Dronivka, and Serebrianka.

In the Siversk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped 11 attacks near Hryhorivka and in the direction of Serebrianka and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian occupiers attacked 7 times near Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Minkivka, Mykolaivka, and Stupochky.

8 Russian attacks were recorded in the Toretsk direction in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Nelipivka, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka.

The fiercest fighting took place in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian troops repelled 46 Russian attacks in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Zapovidne, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Dachne, as well as in the directions of Balahan, Promin, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, and Pokrovsk.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian troops carried out 24 attacks near Zelenyi Hai, Tovste, Piddubne, Myrne, Perebudova, Maliivka, Shevchenko, and in the directions of Filiia, Ivanivka, Iskra, Oleksandrohrad, Novoselivka, and Komyshuvakha.

No combat clashes were recorded in the Huliaipole direction.

Russia attacked once in the Orikhiv direction, trying to advance towards Plavni.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled 3 Russian assaults.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, there were no signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups.

Last night, Russia launched 150 drones at Ukraine from 5 directions. Ukrainian Air Force destroyed most of the Russian targets, but 30 hits were recorded.

Last night, Russian troops launched a massive drone strike on the city of Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region. One person is known to have been killed, and there are casualties.

The Russians also attacked ports in the Izmail district of the Odesa region during the night.
