Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of July 25

Over the past 24 hours, July 24, 174 combat clashes took place on the front. The largest number of battles was recorded in the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have struck eight areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 3 artillery units and 2 Russian control points," Ukraine's General Staff writes.
Directions
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 25 Russian attacks.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Russia stormed the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 7 times near the settlements of Vovchansk, Zelene, Petro-Ivanivka, and Kamianske.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russia attacked 5 times near Stepova Novoselivka, Zahryzove, Kupiansk, Zelenyi Hai, and in the direction of Velyka Shapkivka.
In the Lyman direction, Russia attacked 24 times near the settlements of Hrekivka, Novyi Myr, Yampolivka, Torske, Serebrianka, as well as in the direction of the settlements of Dronivka, Shandryholove, Cherneschyna, and Serednie.
In the Siversk direction, Russia conducted 2 breakthrough attempts in the areas of Hryhorivka and Pereizne.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Russians attacked 3 times in the area of Mykolaivka and the direction of Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, Russia conducted 7 attacks near Dyliivka, Toretsk, Rusyn Yar, in the directions of Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and Katerynivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, 57 Russian assaults were stopped in the areas of the settlements of Myrne, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, and others.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Russia carried out 14 attacks near the settlements of Piddubne, Maliivka, Yalta, Voskresenka, in the direction of Temyrivka, and Oleksandrohrad.
In the Orikhiv direction, a Russian attack was repelled near the settlement of Stepnohirsk.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russia attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces five times in the directions of the settlements of Sadovoe, Dniprovske, and Prydniprovske.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
Over the past day, Russian losses amounted to another 980 troops. The Ukrainian Defense Forces also neutralized 3 Russian tanks, 5 armored combat vehicles, 31 artillery systems, and 2 air defense systems.
