Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 25: +980 troops and 31 artillery systems

Over the past 24 hours, from July 24 to 25, Russian troops lost another 980 soldiers at the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed 31 enemy artillery systems, as well as 76 military vehicles and fuel tanks, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 25, 2025, are approximately:
- personnel - nearly 1,047,250 (+980) Russian troops were eliminated;
- tanks - 11,049 (+3);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 23,052 (+5);
- artillery systems - 30,777 (+31);
- MLRS - 1,446;
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,201;
- aircraft - 421;
- helicopters - 340;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 47,638 (+196);
- cruise missiles - 3,535 (+2);
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 56,213 (+76);
- special equipment - 3,935.
Frontline situation
As of the evening of July 24, 130 combat clashes took place at the front. The largest number of battles was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.
In particular, Russian forces tried 43 times to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the areas of the settlements of Rusyn Yar, Myrne, Myrnohrad, Novoekonomichne, Lisovka, Zverevo, Kotlyno, Udachne, Dachne, as well as in the direction of the settlements of Volodymyrivka and Pokrovsk.
