There were 176 combat engagements on the frontline over the last day. Russian troops are actively storming the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Toretsk directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian attacks
Russian troops launched 5 missiles, dropped 75 guided aerial bombs, launched 2,798 kamikaze drones, shelled 5,062 artillery rounds, 114 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
Russian air strikes were recorded, in particular, in Krasnyi Khutir (Sumy region), Novopil (Donetsk region), Olhivske, Zaliznychne, Kamianske, Plavni, and Novoandriivka (Zaporizhzhia region).
Ukrainian Defense Forces' work
In response, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 22 areas of concentration of Russian manpower and equipment, 2 command posts, 6 missile and artillery facilities, and 1 important occupant facility.
Sectors
Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 13 Russian attacks in the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors. Russian troops also carried out 8 air strikes, dropped 9 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 207 artillery attacks, 10 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi sector, Russian troops attempted to break through the defense 12 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Zelene, and Stroivka.
2 Russian assault attempts were registered in the Kupiansk sector, which were successfully repelled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces near Stepova Novoselivka.
Fierce fighting continued in the Lyman sector, with 29 combat engagements taking place over the last day. Russians tried to advance near Novyi Myr, Hlushchenkove, Hrekivka, Nadiia, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Yampolivka, and Hryhorivka.
In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 4 Russian attacks in the areas of Hryhorivka and Ivano-Darivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russians attacked 13 times, in particular near Chasiv Yar, as well as in the directions of Stupochky, Predtechyno, and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, 20 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Petrivka, Oleksandr-Kalynove, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, and in the direction of Dyliivka were registered over the last day.
The most intense fighting continued in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 52 Russian assaults in the areas of Poltavka, Myrne, Myroliubivka, Kopteve, Promen, Lysivka, Kotlynne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Horikhove, Oleksiivka, and Novoukrainka.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 17 Russian attacks in the areas of Zaporizhzhia, Perebudova, Bahatyr, Novosilka, and Shevchenko.
In the Huliaipole sector, a Russian attack was registered near Malynivka, which was also repelled.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russians conducted an attempt to break through.
In the Orikhiv sector, no Russian offensive actions were recorded.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the formation of Russian strike groups were detected.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
Over the past day, Russia lost 1,090 troops.
Also, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 46 artillery systems and 81 vehicles.
By the way, a Ukrainian soldier with the call-sign Pain captured another Russian occupier using an FPV drone.
The Special Operations Forces also staged a surprise raid on the Russian rear positions. They managed to capture 6 Russian troops.
