Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of May 29

Russian forces continue to attack along the entire frontline. Just today, more than 100 combat engagements have been recorded, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of 10:00 PM, since the beginning of today, there have been 119 combat engagements. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel enemy attempts to advance into our territory, inflicting effective fire damage and wearing them down along the entire frontline.
Today, Russian forces carried out one missile strike and 58 air strikes, using one missile and 113 guided bombs (KABs).
In addition, the Russians deployed 1,113 kamikaze drones for attacks and carried out 4,236 shelling strikes on our troops' positions and populated areas.
Situation by directions
Kharkiv direction: Ukrainian forces repelled four enemy attacks near Starytsia and Vovchansk; two attacks are still ongoing.
Kupiansk direction: The enemy carried out three attacks on our defenders' positions near Nova Krugliakivka. Ukrainian defenders stopped two enemy attacks, and one combat engagement continues.
Lyman direction: Over the day, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions seven times near the villages of Lypove, Hrekivka, and Ridkodub. Three combat engagements remain unresolved.
Siversky direction: Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks towards Hryhorivka.
Kramatorsk direction: Currently, five combat engagements have been recorded. The invader attempted to advance towards Predtechyne, Bila Hora, Stupochky, and near Kurdiumivka.
Toretsk direction: Russians attacked defense positions four times. The main offensive efforts were focused near Druzhba and Toretsk.
Pokrovsk direction: Russians tried 39 times to break through Ukrainian defense in the areas of Zorya, Popiv Yar, Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novoseriivka, Udachne, Troitske, and Andriivka. Five combat engagements are still ongoing.
Today, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 341 enemy combatants in this direction, 182 of them irreversibly.
Additionally, 14 vehicles, 11 motorcycles, two mortars, three Shahed-type drones, and two personnel shelters were destroyed, and a tank, two vehicles, and a BM-21 multiple rocket launcher were damaged.
Novopavlivka direction: The enemy attacked 21 times near Kostiantynopil, Bahatyr, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Vilne Pole, and Novodaryivka. Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped 19 attacks; two combat engagements continue.
Orikhiv direction: The aggressor attacked twice near Stepove.
Prydniprovske direction: The enemy conducted one offensive action without success.
Kursk direction: Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 11 Russian attacks during the day; 10 combat engagements are ongoing.
On other directions, the situation has not changed significantly.
Today, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine honored the warriors of the 105th Territorial Defense Brigade and the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade Zakarpattia.
Russian losses in the war
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Russian Federation has lost more than 980,000 personnel. Notably, just in the past day, enemy losses exceeded one thousand military personnel. The Armed Forces also destroyed:

31 artillery systems, among other equipment.
