Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of April 27

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that as of 4:00 PM on April 27 Kyiv time, 69 combat engagements occurred at the frontline. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, but fighting continues in other areas as well.
Enemy shelling
Russian forces continue to strike areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions. Artillery shelling has particularly affected the settlements of Seredyna Buda, Stara Huta, Nova Huta, Bila Bereza, Yasna Poliana, and Vidrodzhenivske. In addition, airstrikes have targeted areas near Semenivka, Myropilske, Mariine, Uhroidy, and Velykyi Prykil.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy launched three attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Vovchansk, Krasnyi Pershyi, and Mala Shapkivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attempted twice to advance on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Zahryzove and Nova Kruhliakivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 13 attacks today in the settlements of Nadiia, Nove, Ridkodub, Kolodiazi, and Yampolivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled nine enemy attempts to advance near Chasiv Yar, Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, and in the directions of Maiske, Stupochky, and Bila Hora. Four more attacks are ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice in the areas of Ozarianivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 22 attacks on Ukrainian positions today in the areas of the settlements of Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novopavlivka, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, Bahatyr, and in the direction of Oleksiivka. Six combat engagements are still ongoing. Russian guided bombs targeted Kostiantynivka and Zirka.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynopil, Pryvilne, and in the direction of Odradne. Two attacks are still ongoing. Novopil was struck by unguided air missiles.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy launched an unguided missile strike on Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, airstrikes with guided bombs hit Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, and Prymorske.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped one enemy attack. The city of Kherson suffered an airstrike.
In Russia's Kursk direction, five combat engagements took place today. Additionally, the enemy launched one airstrike, dropping two guided bombs, and carried out 140 artillery shellings, including seven with multiple rocket launchers.
The enemy's losses
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces lost another 1,030 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. As a result, total Russian personnel losses now exceed 948,000 military personnel since the beginning of the full-scale war.
Furthermore, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 42 artillery systems, 114 UAVs, and 136 vehicles between April 26 and April 27.
