Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of March 7

Since the beginning of the day on March 7, there have been 56 combat clashes on the front. The enemy is most active in attacking the Toretsk and Pokrovsk directions, as well as in the Kursk region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Today, Ukrainian soldiers are repelling two attacks near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv direction. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of the settlement of Hraniv.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy is storming the positions of our defenders near Zahryzove, with one combat clash currently ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the invader’s army attacked seven times near Hrekivka, Torske, and in the directions of Nove and Novomykhailivka. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked twice near Bilohorivka but was repelled.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders are repelling four attempts by the invaders to advance near Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Chasiv Yar, with two combat clashes already concluded. The enemy carried out an airstrike on Chasiv Yar.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked 13 times near Diliivka, Druzhba, Dachne, and Toretsk. Eleven combat clashes are still ongoing. Airstrikes with guided bombs hit Toretsk, Kleban-Byk, and Kostiantynivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the Russian forces have made 11 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Oleksiivka, Andriivka, and Ulakly. The defense forces are holding back the enemy’s advance and have repelled nine attacks, with two combat clashes still ongoing. Airstrikes hit Pokrovsk and Zvirove.
Today, in the Novopavlivka direction, our troops repelled two enemy attacks near Kostiantynopil and Burlatske. The enemy used rockets to strike Kostiantynopil.
In the Huliaipole direction, the invaders carried out an airstrike on Zaliznychne.
Currently, our forces are repelling two enemy assaults in the Orikhiv direction, near the settlements of Stepove and Piatykhatky.
In the Huliaipole and Prydniprovskyi directions, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled five Russian attacks, with another five clashes still ongoing. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out 11 airstrikes, dropped 16 guided bombs on our positions and settlements, and conducted 185 artillery shellings.
Russia's losses in the war
According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost more than 882,000 units of personnel.
In just the past 24 hours, the losses of the Russian army amounted to 1,150 soldiers. Additionally, yesterday, the Defense Forces destroyed 3 tanks, 23 armored fighting vehicles, 16 artillery systems, 95 drones, and other enemy equipment.
