Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 29

Since the beginning of the day on November 29, 123 clashes have occurred on the front lines. The Russian forces are focusing their efforts in the Kurakhove, Vremivka, and Pokrovsk directions, where they launched more than half of all their attacks, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian shelling
Border regions of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions continue to suffer from Russian artillery shelling.
Today, several settlements were affected by the shelling of the terrorist army, including Bleshnia, Porozok, Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Hremiachka, Prohres, Nova Huta, and Vidrodzhenivske.
Situation in the directions
Kharkiv direction:
The Russian army launched two assaults on our positions near Vovchansk and Tykhe. One battle is still ongoing.
Kupiansk direction:
The enemy attacked our positions six times. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults near Kolysnykivka, Lozova, Pershotravneve, and Zelenyi Hai.
Lyman direction:
Enemy units attacked the areas of Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, Terny, Yampolivka, Dibrivka, Torske, Zarichne, Hryhorivka, and the Serebryanske forestry. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian forces have repelled 16 attacks.
Kramatorsk direction:
The invaders carried out two assault actions near Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Bila Hora. Two attacks are currently ongoing.
Toretsk direction:
Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack near Druzhba. Enemy aviation also struck Oleksandro-Kalynove and Oleksandro-Shultyne.
Pokrovsk direction:
Since the beginning of the day, the Russian army has made 21 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near the settlements of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Chumatske, Novyi Trud, and Zhovte. The defense forces have repelled 19 attacks so far. The enemy has suffered significant casualties in personnel.
Kurakhove direction:
The highest number of clashes have been recorded in this direction. The invaders made 33 attacks on our units, trying to advance in the areas of Sontsivka, Berestky, Novodmytrivka, Zorya, Kurakhove, Dachne, Dalnie, Yelyzavetivka, Hannivka, and Uspenivka. Ten battles are still ongoing.
Vremivka direction:
The invaders conducted 22 attacks on Ukrainian military positions near Veselyi Hai, Kostiantynopolske, Sukhi Yaly, Rozdolne, and Novodarivka. Eleven clashes are ongoing, and enemy aviation struck Novosilka and Makarivka with guided bombs.
Huliaipole direction:
The enemy is using assault aviation and fired unguided rockets at the Huliaipole area.
Prydniprovskyi direction:
The enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to storm Ukrainian positions.
Kursk region:
Ukrainian defenders have repelled 11 attacks by Russian invaders today, and the fighting continues.
Russian losses in the war
The total losses of Russia since the beginning of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 736,000 people.
In just the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces eliminated 1,220 Russian soldiers. Additionally, yesterday the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed one tank, two armored fighting vehicles, 22 artillery systems, 45 drones, and other enemy equipment.
