Frontline situation

Russian forces failed to advance in the northern Sumy region on November 3–4 amid Ukrainian counterattacks, despite intensifying assaults toward Myropillia. Russian claims of capturing Zarichne near Lyman were also disputed, with the settlement described as a contested gray zone.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck several Russian military targets in temporarily occupied territories, including a drone launch site in Crimea, drone and ammunition depots, a mobile firing group, and repair units. The strikes could weaken Russia’s ability to launch aerial attacks on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
