Russia-Ukraine war: Frontline update as of November 13
Since the beginning of November 13, there have been 151 combat clashes on the frontlines. Russian forces continue their major assaults on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions in the Donetsk region, reports the Ukrainian General Staff.
Enemy shelling
The enemy carried out 70 airstrikes using 115 guided air bombs (GABs), 787 drone attacks, and nearly 3,859 shelling instances on the positions of our troops and civilian areas with various types of weaponry.
Frontline situation
In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian army carried out eight attacks near Vovchansk and Vysoka Yaruha throughout the day. Three clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 12 attacks. The enemy showed activity near Lozova, Kucherivka, Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Kruhliaivka, and Pershotravneve. Airstrikes targeted Pishchane, Kivsharivka, Zahryzove, and Bohuslavka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched eight attacks throughout the day, attempting to advance towards Cherneshchyna, Zarichne, Novoiehorivka, and Terni. The enemy carried out strikes using guided air bombs (GABs) and unguided aerial rockets (NARs) on Serhiivka, Novoiehorivka, Yampolivka, and Terni.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one clash occurred near Stupochky. Siversk and Zvanivka were struck by guided air bombs (GABs).
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attempted to breach our defense seven times. Throughout the day, the Russian army attacked near Nelipivka and Toretsk. Airstrikes targeted Dachne, Toretsk, Mykolaivka, Petrivka, Kramatorsk, and Kostiantynivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, our forces repelled 36 enemy offensive and assault attempts in the areas of Sukha Balka, Promin, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar, Hryhorivka, Dachenske, Myrolyubivka, Petrivka, Novooleksiivka, and Pustynka. One of these clashes is still ongoing.
Our forces are taking measures to hold designated positions and are giving a tough response. The enemy attacked Pushkine, Myrnohrad, Shevchenko, and Petrivka with guided air bombs (GABs), while also striking Sukha Balka with unguided aerial rockets (NARs).
According to preliminary data, today the enemy has lost over 400 personnel killed and wounded. Additionally, Ukrainian servicemen destroyed two tanks, three armored fighting vehicles, and ten units of automotive equipment. Furthermore, two tanks and eight units of automotive equipment were significantly damaged.
In the Kurakhove direction, there have been 40 combat clashes so far today. The Russian forces maintain their activity, attempting to advance in the areas of the settlements of Berestky, Illinka, Novoselydivka, Sontsivka, Kreminna Balka, Voznesenka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Dalnie, Antonivka, and Katerynivka. Two guided air bombs (GABs) were dropped on Kurakhove.
According to available information, the enemy has lost two tanks, three armored fighting vehicles, and thirteen units of automotive equipment in this direction today. One tank and three units of automotive equipment were also damaged.
In the Vremivka direction, the Russian army launched ten attacks near the settlements of Rivnopil, Novopil, Trudove, Kostiantynopolske, and Makarivka. Five of these attacks have already been repelled.
In the Orikhiv direction, our forces stopped three enemy attacks near Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka. The settlements of Natalivka and Zaporizhzhia were struck by four guided air bombs (GABs).
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the situation has not changed significantly, and no positions or territories have been lost. Ukrainian forces repelled five assaults by Russian forces. At the same time, the enemy launched an airstrike with twenty unguided aerial rockets (NARs) on Kozatske.
Frontline situation and airstrikes
On Wednesday, November 13, Russian forces, during an attack on the Kupiansk direction, disguised themselves in Ukrainian Armed Forces uniforms.
Also today, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) conducted a special operation and detonated a vehicle in the occupied Sevastopol, carrying a captain of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. The military officer succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
Meanwhile, in Kharkiv, a Russian drone attacked a residential building, injuring four people.
